Biography
The story
lumii started in the comment section of a Facebook post. We got to talking, started sending each other WIPs, and eventually finished our first track together. One collab turned into more, we became close friends, and starting a project together felt like the obvious next step.
That exchange is still how we work. We send unfinished ideas back and forth, jump into Discord calls to work through them together, and pull them in directions neither of us would have taken alone. We keep going until the track feels like lumii. Our sound moves through hybrid trap, UK bass, dubstep, and 140, with room for both heavy low end and more emotional, melodic moments.
Since launching lumii in 2024, that process has led to more than 75,000 SoundCloud streams, releases with Hybrid Trap Music, Drop Central, and Good Vibes Only, and live sets at Potopia Music Festival, Backyard Bash, Rozland Festival, The B.O.B., and more.
